W 1992 r. zabytkowe centrum Pragi zostało zapisane na liście światowego
dziedzictwa UNESCO.
Trudno opisać wszystkie zabytki i uroki praskiego Starego
Miasta. Trzeba ograniczyć się do wymienienia tych najbardziej znanych. Podczas
zwiedzania, warto traktować je jako punkt wyjścia – spacer po tym rejonie Pragi
przynosi dużo niespodzianek, a za każdym kolejnym rogiem ciasnych uliczek można
natrafić na niezwykły, warty odkrycia zaułek lub zakamarek miasta.
Rynek
Starego Miasta (Staroměstské náměstí) – miejsce w którym bardzo często zaczyna
się i kończy wycieczki po Pradze. Znajduje się tutaj kilka symboli Pragi –
jednym z nich jest Ratusz z zegarem astronomicznym pochodzących z XV wieku.
Nieopodal znajduje się drugi symbol miasta – secesyjny pomnik Jana Husa – został
odsłonięty w 500 rocznicę spalenia na stosie tego czeskiego reformatora.
Znajdują się tutaj również dwa zabytkowe kościoły; Marii Panny przed Tynem
(1365) oraz św. Mikołaja (1732-1735).

Podskalska Apartment

Podskalska Studio Apartment is situated in an excellent central location in Prague’s historic centre in Prague 2 Nove Mesto, next to the River Vltava.

The ground floor apartment has sleeps 4 people. There is one double bedroom and a sofa bed that converts into a double bed in the living room. The living room also has a dining area, coffee table, lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The apartment has recently been renovated and has been furnished with new furniture.

The apartment has satellite TV with 60 channels, hi-fi stereo, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, electric oven, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. The bathroom also has a corner bath.

We are still a relitivly new hostel and bar,ber being open since December and the hostel started only in april of this year,its run by a family from the Aran islands(an island of the west coast of Galway ireland.so we have fluent gaelic,czech and english people working in the hostel.

Most of our rooms are equipped with:
- TV, DVD player (you can rent out any type of DVD from reception),
- satellite TV with many channels,
- bathroom (toilette and shower) and small kitchenette, including microwave,
- free use of washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and iron board

The bar is very cosy with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The furniture is timber especially produced for the bar in Ireland, with a Celtic theme. It stocks the best Czech beers, Gambrinus,cider,guiness & the most famous beer in the world – Pilsner Urquell,
You can order food at the bar, Czech and international kitchen available.

there is also two beer gardens outside open from morning untill 10pm, one with big plasma tv,great for watch sport.

Pension Florenc offers accommodation in 2, 3 and 4 bed rooms and apartments. The Pension is ideally situated, close to the Florenc bus station and the main railway station.
We are conveniently located downtown, near the Hilton Business Centre and the shopping street Na Porici. There are cafe bars – Cafe Imperial, restaurants (Gate restaurant, Pizzeria RIALTO), pubs, supermarkets (Billa, Albert, Kotva, Bílá labuť) and a lot of shops nearby (Palladium).
After your arrival you will get your own key without any deposit. A city map is free.

Nearby you will find Bertramka, a place where W.A. Mozart stayed while he was in Prague.
It takes 10 minutes to get to Old town – from where you can proceed to Prague Castle and other historical sights in accordance with your interest.

Currently only cash payments are accepted in the hostel.
